Privacy Notice (PDPA)

This notice explains how the Office of Saroja Rajah, Commissioner for Oaths ("we", "us") collects and processes personal data in the course of providing attestation services.

1. What we collect

• Identification data: full name, NRIC/passport number, nationality;
• Contact data: phone number, email address;
• Document data: the contents of any affidavit, statutory declaration or document you ask us to attest;
• Scheduling data (via Google Appointment Schedule / Google Calendar): date and time of appointment and service selected;
• Website analytics (if enabled): IP address, browser type, pages visited.

2. Purpose

Your personal data is processed to: verify your identity prior to attestation, maintain the Register of Oaths as required by law, issue official receipts, respond to enquiries, and comply with statutory obligations.

3. Disclosure

We do not disclose your data to any third party except: (a) where compelled by law, court order or regulatory directive; (b) to Google LLC solely as a processor of calendar and booking data under the Google Workspace Data Processing Amendment.

4. Retention

The Register of Oaths and related attestation records are retained for the period prescribed by the Commissioners for Oaths Rules 2018. Appointment records are retained for 24 months and then deleted.

5. Your rights

You may at any time request access to or correction of your personal data, and limit the processing of that data, by writing to persuruhjaya.sumpah@gmail.com.
